Simon Ludden has over 30 years’ experience in financial services, having originally studied law. For the past 20 years Simon has worked in the legal profession, advising the clients of law firms on most areas of investment and tax planning. As a financial adviser, Simon pays particular attention to clients’ attitude to risk and their tax position.
He also undertakes full financial planning advice for companies and individuals, specialising in pensions and savings as well as protection against untimely death and incapacity.
Simon has taken on the role of treasurer of the East Kent Collaborative Law Pod (aroundthetable), a group of family lawyers dedicated to a less confrontational style of divorce process. He advises regularly on the financial aspects of both contested and non-contested divorces, and is an affiliated member of Resolution.
Simon has experience in tax mitigation and sheltering schemes and is also qualified to provide advice on corporate pensions including transfers.
Ruth Dolan has worked in the Financial Services industry since 1996. Qualified as a Chartered Financial
Planner, she has been providing independent financial advice since 2004.
Ruth provides advice on a range of areas including taxation and investment planning, retirement planning, and protection planning.
An affiliated member of STEP Ruth is also well qualified to assist trustees in adhering to their duties of investments under the Trustee Act 2000. Combining investment planning and the practical aspects of administering trust investments, trustees receive a fully comprehensive plan when considering the investment of trust funds.
Ruth is an accredited Later Life Adviser after achieving membership of the society of Later Life Advisers (SOLLA) in October 2010 and is now a member of the Advisory Board. SOLLA aims to assist consumers to find quality and trusted financial advisers involved in the older client market by promoting the benefits of working with financial advisers who have achieved the Later Life Adviser Accreditation.

Louise has worked in the financial services industry since 2006 and qualified as an adviser in 2014; she is currently working towards achieving her Chartered status. Louise has always worked in the independent sector, dealing with both private and corporate clients and in the latter years, has worked closely with various accountancy practices here in East Kent, advising their clients on a range of areas, including investment planning, retirement planning and estate planning.
Louise strongly believes at placing her clients at the forefront of everything she does and works hard to build lasting relationships, that often span more than one generation. Louise likes to take a fully holistic view to the financial planning process, to ensure she provides the very best all-round advice to her clients and enjoys presenting it in simple, easy to understand terms.

Nick has worked in the financial services sector since 1997 and qualified as an adviser in 1999. Having spent 15 years advising members of a well known high street Building Society, he then moved into the independent sector in 2014.
Nick places the client front and centre of the financial advice process. He takes a fully holistic view of personal and financial circumstances before presenting solutions to clients’ financial planning needs in simple, easy to understand terms.
He aims to build and maintain long term relationships helping clients and their families adapt their financial arrangements as their circumstances evolve.
Nick has experience advising clients in the areas of investments and savings, pre and post retirement planning, tax planning and financial protection in the event of death and ill-health.

Karen Parker has been in the industry for 30 years and is qualified to Chartered level. She provides much of the technical support to the advisers, as well as filling a number of other vital roles in the advice process. As a paraplanner, she will aid the advisers in writing the reports for clients.
